UNFSS: food systems diagnostics and food policy development and implementation in Africa

The Food System Transformative Integrated Policy (FS-TIP) is a new initiative supporting African governments that demonstrate political will and commitment in the development and implementation of an ambitious food system policy agenda aimed at achieving sustainable healthy diets for all. During this session, the FS-TIP coalition (1) shared its innovative diagnostic analysis approach and how other countries can conduct a similar analysis; and (2) discussed implications of the diagnostic analysis for policy development and implementation, including aspects such as governance and stakeholder engagement.
