The world is facing multiple, complex and cascading challenges that are adversely impacting human well-being, including nutrition and micronutrient security. #MNF2023 brought together diverse international and national delegates across sectors and disciplines to drive compelling and evidence-based agendas that promote nutrition and strengthen population resilience in the face of rising shocks including climate change and man-made conflicts.

At the closing of the conference, a Way Forward Statement was presented on behalf of more than 50 global experts from research, academia, program, and policy institutions with six evidence-based recommendations for immediate action by community, national, regional, and global leaders. These recommendations aim to guide policymakers and funders to fulfill the promises of the Sustainable Development Goals and to protect nutrition and health in the face of unprecedented crises
