This webinar focused on the role of higher-education institutions in strengthening Agricultural Innovation Systems (AIS). It explored how universities and other higher-education institutions can contribute not only through research and teaching, but also through extension and engagement with different stakeholders to support the development, adoption and scaling of agricultural technologies and innovations. A particular focus was placed on aligning higher-education curricula, research and extension activities with stakeholder needs and on creating mechanisms for more inclusive, collaborative innovation.
