Held under the patronage of Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Energy and Petroleum, the 25th Africa Energy Forum (AEF) gathered governments and business leaders in the energy sector to identify opportunities, form partnerships, and move the energy industry forward.
Sessions featured insights from energy ministers and heads of utilities on project pipelines and cover a range of topics, including the pace and scale of renewable energy projects in Africa, capital flows and risk mitigation in energy markets, and regional power markets. New session streams for 2023 focused on:- mining,
- critical minerals,
- energy;
- and Africa’s opportunity in hydrogen.
