The 2021 UN Food Systems Summit (UNFSS) set the stage for global food systems transformation to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 and the 2023 UNFSS+2 Stocktaking event reviewed progress on its objectives. It concluded that `There is no shortage of ambition for food systems that combine the right to food with delivering the SDGs for everyone; there is tangible progress albeit much more remains to be done’.
In this GFAR Talk, two speakers reflected on what progress has been achieved and what still needs to be done if the UNFSS is to achieve its goal of global food systems transformation.
