9 - 11 February 2015. The HLPD Expert Working Group was set up after the EU-Africa Summit 2014 and is working on an input to a roadmap towards a jointly funded EU-Africa Research and Innovation Partnership with a first focus on food and nutrition security and sustainable agriculture.
The final input is expected in April 2015 and this meeting served to make progress on the input and discuss remaining questions with the policy-makers. For this reason, a meeting was held back-to-back with a meeting of the EU-Africa HLPD Bureau of policy-makers, potential funders as well as the FP7/Horizon 2020 funded support projects.
