The hybrid events of the 2022 Borlaug Dialogue will be Tuesday, October 18, through Thursday, October 20. This year’s theme, “Feeding a Fragile World,” focuses on the nexus of agriculture, food security and climate change addressing adaptation and mitigation solutions to reach the SDGs by 2030.

The Report shines a light on the progress, and lack of progress, made by food organizations in
promoting diversity and equality in their leadership and decision-making and in putting gender equality at the heart of their work.

The data reveals not only gender inequalities in board representation, but that board seats are also dominated by nationals from high-income countries. The Report asserts that this skewed distribution of power and privilege undermines global efforts to reach the Sustainable Development Goals.
This launch event seminar presented the report’s findings and explore how this accountability mechanism can empower a movement for more equitable, inclusive organizations across the global food system.
