The aim of the webinar was to illustrate the role of knowledge management as an instrument to create an enabling environment for agricultural activities and investments, which can support African member states in implementing recommendations made by CAADP and the Malabo Declaration. It will do so by showcasing the various existing platforms and tools, country case studies.More specifically, the side-event :
- Illustrated knowledge management tools and platforms as strategies supporting CAADP and MAPLE commitments and means to create an enabling environment for increase activities and investment in agriculture, promote strategies and good practices, as well as offering a space for creating synergies amongst partners within the sector.
- Presented the digital knowledge platforms of various organizations which facilitate the documentation and dissemination of good practices with potential for replication and scale-up, exchanges among experts and other users.
- Advocated for these multi-sectorial and multi-stakeholder approaches to knowledge management as a way to address recommendations for West Africa made by the CCADP/Malabo Declaration BR3
