The event was organized in collaboration with French research institutes CIRAD-INRAE-IRD.
The 2022 edition focused on the ways in which science can inform the analysis of the current food crisis, as well as the relationship between science and society (collective scientific expertise, public policies, ethics). Innovation and sustainability will also be addressed through thematic discussions on digital agriculture and robotics, microbiome, agroecology and water. A final session will present the relationship of science to time and in particular the symbolic year 2030 (outcome of the UN process of the so-called Agenda 2030 resolution).
