Food systems account for ⅓ of total GHG emissions. Achieving the Paris Agreement’s 1.5-degree target is impossible without fundamental changes in the way we produce and consume our food. In the context of the GST, it is imperative that the UNFCCC elevates alternative proteins as a key solution.
