Feeding the World 2015

12 February 2015. Amsterdam. Feeding the World 2015. Quality vs quantity: food and nutrition security for 9 billion.

The Economist Event assembled the most respected names from agribusiness, policy, international agencies, science and the NGO community to discuss the measures that need to be taken to achieve food and nutrition security.

Feeding the World 2015 examined the implications of the tremendous increase in food demand and changing food patterns, as well as the measures that need to be taken to achieve food and nutrition security.

From human factors such as supply chains, nutrition and Western food waste, to geographical and environmental influences like climate change and water supply. Expert speakers from across the globe unpicked this complex topic, seeking explanations and solutions in light of the fact that, according to the FAO, we do actually produce enough to feed the world.
