This process has been applied in more than 10 countries including the Senegal River Basin countries. This webinar will present the capacity assessment process and how its results have informed new initiatives to empower young farmers and young agri-entrepreneurs in the Senegal River Basin countries.

Empowering youth to engage in the agricultural sector is key to ensure sustainable food security, create livelihood opportunities and reduce unplanned migration. In this context, FAO has developed a capacity assessment tool and process to support countries in assessing the existing and needed capacities to engage and empower youth to carry out and benefit from responsible agricultural investments.
