NDICI – Global Europe: the new instrument for EU’s international cooperation

NDICI - Global Europe is the new EU instrument for international cooperation and partnerships.

This conference explained the following aspects of NDICI - Global Europe: 

• policy context, objective, novelty, priorities, structure, content; 
• Implementation (programming and executive implementation). 

It was aimed at development actors and other platforms who operate in the complex field of external action, who have an interest in EU policy. Participants acquired the necessary knowledge to understand the framework in which the EU develops partnerships with the rest of the world. Moreover, they became familiar with the scope and objectives of the instrument as well as the different processes of implementation, most notably programming. This allowed them to better identify opportunities in their context of action. The session was organised by unit D.3. INTPA - Coordination and oversight of Financing Instruments.
