agriculture based on proper natural resource management. - Farai Gumisai (39) is a programme officer of TSURO Trust in Chimanimani District, Zimbabwe
- Over the past 6 years TSURO Trust together with the Agritex office, has trained more than 500 farmers in Chimanimani to produce biofertilisers using locally available material
Bridge2Rwanda
- Bridge2Rwanda was created in 2007 with two main objectives: Create opportunities for Rwanda's most promising students to obtain a global education; Attract global investors to accelerate Rwanda’s economic growth
- Rosine Ndayishimiye Director of Training of Bridge2Rwanda, is a Rwandan Social Entrepreneur passionate about strategic problem-solving in Agriculture. She grew up in Rwanda and was part of the 3rd class of Bridge2Rwanda Scholars.
Other than research, Athahanse has been engaged in development and management of various national and regional projects including Sustainable Forestry, Agroforestry and Biomass Energy Management for Climate Resilience, Trees for Food Security (phases 1 and 2), Reversing Land Degradation in Africa by Scaling-up Evergreen Agriculture (Regreening Africa) and Harnessing the Potential of Trees on Farms for Meeting National and Global Biodiversity Targets.
