During the InfoPoint, FAO presented its latest assessments of world food markets, including forecasts for 2022/23 and implications for global food security, and report on its work on global fertilizer markets. Emphasis was placed on the impacts of the Ukraine crisis.
The presentation also included the evolutions and compositions of the global food import bill and agricultural input import bill, based on the latest data and information.
The event also allowed exchange of views on the latest developments in world food markets and discussion on how market transparency could be further improved.
