GFRAS supported by the GIZ Sector Project Agriculture has conducted a study on the benefits of digital rural advisory services with the aim to understand exactly how digital rural advisory services can support the promotion of good agricultural practices (GAP) and improve farmers’ livelihoods.
Under the guidance of the GFRAS Regional Networks in Anglophone Africa, Francophone Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia, success and constraint factors for digital rural advisory services were identified, as well as needs and opportunities for the public sector to engage further in digital agriculture.
