- At this event, the International Panel of Experts on Sustainable Food Systems (IPES-Food) launched a new publication: Who’s Tipping the Scales?. They shared their findings on the power imbalances that challenge democratic decision-making on food, and propose transformative governance reforms needed to address them.

- IFPRI’s 2023 Global Food Policy Report, explores evidence-based policy and governance solutions that can provide better early warning and rapid response, and increase resilience of food systems

- The Scientific Group was an independent group of 28 food systems scientists from all over the world with a mandate from the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations.

- The CGIAR Research Initiative on National Policies and Strategies for Food, Land, and Water Systems Transformation (NPS)
- The conference provided evidence-based recommendations, developed by Kenyan researchers with the support of their international counterparts, to policy- and decision-makers. In addition, a matchmaking “marketplace” brought CGIAR Research Initiatives and their Kenyan research partners together with Kenyan policymakers and decision-makers to identify current and future research demand and explore how research can better provide timely information.

- Every organism in a healthy and thriving soil ecosystem is important, including bacteria, protozoa, and nematodes.
- This webinar focused on plants and fungi, because they have unique roles and partnerships that facilitate every other form of life in the soil.
Digital Agriculture
27 April 2023. Leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Satellite Remote Sensing Data for Decision-making in the African Agricultural Sector Recording available
- AKADEMIYA2063 developed Africa Agriculture Watch (AAgWa).
- Launched in 2021, AAgWa is a web-based platform that employs cutting-edge machine learning techniques and satellite remotely sensed data to predict agricultural yields and production levels of several crops across Africa to support decision making, monitoring, crisis management, and effective intervention planning in local communities.
